Sapa ng Palay


sa gintong palayan, ang huni'y nagising,
kanina'y naidlip sa daloy ng panaginip
habang nasisilayan ang katotohanan
at nakita kitang lumilipad
walang bahid na kalapati ang katulad
sa dulo ng kahong kulungan
naipit ng kung ano ang pakpak
habang nakatuon sa biluging mata
na siya lamang daing at nagniningning
sukob ng langit ang daloy ng buhay
nawawala sa ulirat ng banggain
humingi ng direksyon sa apoy na gulat
ang siyang nakatali at nakabigti
hindi kailan man magkakatingin
tapusin na ang paghihintay
inipit ng langit at panahon
na sana'y matagpuan ang sarili
lumilipad sa kaibuturan ng iyong mundo
gamit ang pighati sa paghahanap sayo
umuulan ng kalungkutan sa gitna ng mga buwan
samantalang hindi alintana ang bugso ng mga ulap
tumatakas at nakikiusap
o sana sa pagtayog ng ilaw sa malamig na panahon
kung saan malaya sa pag-aalinlangan
isang pangarap na taglay
alamat ng sapang palay

What is the difference between Tagalog and Filipino?

Tagalog used to be the National Language of the Philippines. Its existence can be traced back from the pre-Spanish Era. Tagalog is an olden language .
