Sa pagkahaling sa panahon ng kamusmusan
May isang natatanging alaalang hindi mawawalay
Delubyo ang kaharap habang naglalakad
Paparoonan ay isang masukal na likuan
Ulap ay tumatama sa paningin
Binubulag ang bintana ng kaibuturan
Samantalang ikaw ay parating
Ang aking kaibigang yelo
Mata’y nakatitig, bilugan at maitim
Bumalik sa basang semento
Mga hinagpis tahimik na pinakinggan
Kahit pa ang diyos ay di maintindihan
Ang pag amo mo ang siya lamang kailangan
Sa sigawan at delubyo ng buhay
Ilang araw ding kumakaway
Parating man o paalis
Hindi pinapansin, pagkat hinagpis kung magtagal
Sa maliit na impyerno sa dulo ng mundo
Ilang beses nakinig sa mataimtim na luha
Na galing sa musmos na puso
Ikaw kaibigan ang natatanging kaharap
Sa gitna ng digmaan ng katangahan
Hindi na kita nakita
Baling araw ikaw ay masisilayan
Malamang pasalamatan
Pagkat sa isip ng isang batang ligaw
na sumambot ng kalupitan
Ikaw ang natatanging kabigkisan

What is the difference between Tagalog and Filipino?

Tagalog used to be the National Language of the Philippines. Its existence can be traced back from the pre-Spanish Era. Tagalog is an olden language . Rajah Sulaiman was the Datu of the Tagalog Kingdom before it was forcefully taken by the Spaniards in the 15th century.
